Chung-song

I've been to Chung-Song in Kyung-Buk Province famour for sweet apple for 5days
Especially I really do want to experience traditional old house which took top award in the Korean's accommodation field.
Moreover Chung-song includes Ju-Wang national park that best season for Autumn Travel.

It was lovely day to trip to anywhere and we packed some snacks for due to longdistance travel.

It took 5 hours by highway and we finally got Chung-Song.
Actually on a way to Chung-Song, we found beautiful autumn landscape so took a photograph sometimes.

 Chung-Song is famous for sweet apple and all the round of village surrounded by apple trees.

 Since this regions abounds in apples, we could have a bag of apple just for 10,000won.

Not only apples but jujube and golden farmland, we faced real autumn on the way.

It refreshed our mind and stress away.

This is soybean fields; people in Kyung-sang province often cook side dish by soybean leaves.

However people in different region they don't eat soybean leaves cause different eating habits.

  Well-ripended golden rice plants were swaying in the wind.

We stopped by Bang-Ho Jung which is famous for holiday season.

It was built in Cho-Sun Dynasty when King Kwang-Hae ruled.

There's no ticket fee and we took a break a while.

 We could have saw interior but just had a distance view.

Unusually most of mountain in Chung-Song consists of rock
Seems it's quite difficult environment for plant growth but all the colourful trees are already prepared the autumn.

We found homeless cats by chance and they were 6 of them!!!

Before going to Song-So old house we came by Chung-Sung Ya-Song art gallery
There's also free ticket, looked small school.
I guessed they remodeled closed school.

The latest designs from both home at abroad were displayed.

Due to seasonal aspect, nights grow longer and days grow shorter, we looked downtown quickly and unpacked at Song-So old house (Must make a reservation for 1 night)

Song-So old house was divided into 300m by performing ancestral rites area and experiencing old house area.

This picture is the place that performing the ancestral rites.

Here is SongsoGotaek. (House)

This 99 section’s old house was built in 1880.

Songso Ancient House was built 130 years ago~ wow!

Old stuff from the house

This Sapsal dog is Korean national monument.

SongsoGotaek is divided into main house / big space/ little space/ office/ shower booth/ restroom.
The owner lived main house and there is heating in the house.

This house is for owner’s daughter.

 This is furnace for making a fire.

This is an inside and outside of the house.

This picture is a mill and little vegetable garden.

The price of 1 night here is 50,000 / 70,000/ 100,000/150,000 won.

It depends on room size.

The upper picture is 150,000 won.

Lower one is 100,000 won.

I had handmade chopped noodle and soy paste soup.

The taste was great. YUM!!
On the first day of the trip is getting over……
There is no internet, TV!
You have to enjoy the real old life~

cock-a-doodle-doo.
During the night, a floor was so hot!!! I woke up a couple of times.
It was like Jjimjil-bang!!
I took a picture of house before I leave here.. It was so beautiful.. isn’t it?

Day2.
Fall is coming in Juwang mountain Jusanji~.

Here is Jusanji reservoir which never shows its bottom yet.

There is also famous willow tree under the water.
We parked a car and had breakfast.

It is Ramen and fish cake.

Korean Ramen is so delicious.

In here, the fall foliage peaks from late October to beginning of November.

What a beautiful view~

The great willow trees make up a magnificent view.

The scenery is like a beautiful watercolor painting.

That’s too bad.. People want to get resin.. So this pine gets hurt like this.

People have to think about nature seriously.

Here Gyeongbuk Chunsong-Gun songsoGotaek, Juwang mountain Jusanji was the perfect place to enjoy Korea’s beautiful autumn, I highly recommend~
