Beautiful Autumn Scene Gumi and Sangju

As autumn come close we made a trip to Gumi and Sangju which is convenient for transportation from Daegu.
First our destination was Gem-Oh Mountain in Gumi that away from half an hour Daegu by car.

Geom-oh mountain was designated as a first provincial park in 1970 June 1st. It is famous for graceful view and wide landscape.

The term "Geom-Oh mountain" comes from the stroy that someone who passed by this mountain sew golden crow flew over the mountain.

In Korea Geon-Nam Province Region is famous for Metasequoia Road but also Geom-oh mountain has beautiful road as above picture that many people don't know.

Moreover Gu-mi city designates this road as a stepping fallen leaves road until the 20th November and let leaves pile up on the street that many visitors enjoy real autumn mood.

For around 10 minutes on foot, you can find entrance of Geom-Oh Mountain for climbing.

This provincial park is a nice place for riding.

When you stroll around between dense trees, you will feel comfortable and peaceful mind.

Walking along the Metasequoia Road, you can find Geom-Oh mountain hotel.
The hotel operated many package programme regarding autumn season for instance cable car, sauna, and so on.

Next our destination was Nam Jang village in Sang Ju from Geom Oh Mountain by car for 30mins.
Sang Ju city is famous for rice, cocoon and dried persimmons.
This village produces 60% of whole production in Korea.

The entire town was drying persimmons and its view was absolutely fantastic.

The town starts to make dried persimmons in around mid October and this season was crowded by so many photographers.

There was a machine for peeling persimmon.

The more I look at it , the more it is amazing.
After the machine, it was cleaned by worker’s hand.

This is persimmon vinegar.

With a water or is good but the better way to drink is with plum drink, 5:2 .
People said that this beverage is really good for a skin.
It was 5,000 won for a one bottle.
I bought it as soon as hear for good skin~ why not?

Lunch time~~~

I found famous restraunt for Bibim-bob~
They told me that they are only using Sangju rice which is the best qulity.

I saw stone pot bibim-bob a lot but this dish was something special.
The owner said this bowl is special one to sterlize by itself.
It also can keep a heat for a long time.

This is stired-Fried octopus.

Just thinking about it makes my mouth water.

After eating enough I head for rice wine ( Makgeolli ) factory,.
These days, rice wine is big trend in Japan and other country too.
I love to drink Malgeolli too~~

Here is Makgeolli ( rice wine) produce line.
They call Enjagol Takbaegi.

This factory had a hard time in 1980 because of trend of beer and soju.
However people love to drink Makgeolli lately, so they develop for better taste.

They are ready for selling~

They say this rice wine ( Mageollii) does not leave hangover no matter how much you drink.

To use good qulity’s this year rice is the great secret of nice taste.
