Trip to Young-Yang to find appetite for 340 years ago
In the past, Young-Yang was city of three remote area in Gyong-Sang province.
Now, of course, we can easily reach Young-Yang compare to past.
Via Jung-Bu, Young-Dong Highway and Jung-Ang highway you can enter the West Andong IC to reach final destination Young-Yang Du-Dle Village.
It seems quite distance during the trip compare to getting KTX from seoul to Busan that only takes 2hours but to find real appetite which has been keeping for 340years, there's no doubt to pay effort on it.

Du-Dle is Gyong-Sang dialect that stands for hog-backed hills.
Commonly great location village means village surrounds by mountain at the back and river runs in the front. But Du-Dle village is completely opposite. It locates high geography and around 30 Korean Style house stands side by side.

Food Di-Mi-Bang is the greatest Korean recipe that first Korean Food encyclopedia.

Eumsikdimibang
Eumsikdimibang is a recipe book written by Lady Jang originating from Andong who was titled Jeongbuin meaning the Chaste Lady by King Hyeonjong. Most of the scholars majoring in food culture do not hesitate to think the book to be the best recipe book. Besides, as the book is written in Korean, it is easily accessible to anyone. It is a work of essential recipes for excellent traditional foods. The book which introduces 146 recipes is a valuable basic material for research on Korean food.

The Eumsik dimibang or Gyugon siuibang is a Korean cookbook written around 1670 by Lady Jang (張氏, 1598~1680) from Andong Clan, Gyeongsang Province during the Joseon Dynasty. The author was in the noble yangban class and the book is a manuscript written in hangul (Korean alphabet). Eumsik dimibang encompasses Korean cuisine in general and deals with various ways of storing foods. The book also has 51 different entries related to traditional alcoholic beverages. Since the book is the oldest and detailed cookbook written by a woman in Korean history, it is considered a valuable document for researching Korean cuisine.

There were some diahes before the main meal.. I was already full..
It was very hard to control eat just a little bit each food.
The main food is rice, soybean past soup, Kimchi and baked fish… it was more that 10!!!
All the food was very plane taste. No spicy, salty, sweet at all…

If you want to visit here, you must book this program.
You need to gather people at least 10. There is 2 different program, one’s price is 30,000 won , the other one is 50,000 won.
You can also stay 2 different villages. The rate depends on the size of room.
It is from 40,000~70,000 won.
