Youngcheon, where to enjoy the art and sport together~

Finally the rain stop and the sun were shining for a long time.

There is the best race course park and one of the best observatories it called Bohyunsan in Youngcheon.I visited Cyan museum at first.

Cyan Museum of Art exhibits various genres of visual art 4~5 times every year. The museum exhibits not only planned exhibition but also the exhibition with government’s various joint businesses. Also, we are waiting for good independent curator’s exhibitions. Cyan Museum of Art has 25,000 square meter’s sculpture park where you have an appreciation of oversea's and domestic main artists' works.

At 1^st floor, exhibition was held to commemorate of 8th years, ‘The story’. And 2^nd floor was held ‘head, shoulder knee, foot’ for child program.

The museum was established as ‘Cyan art center’ in 2004 and Cyan Museum of Art received authority for the first registration of art museum in the region in December, 2004.

This paint is about after 1950’s 6.25 war in Korea. It shows how people were devastated after the war.

There are lots of nice art works.

I was going to go and see at send floor, it was getting ready to set up the place. I just looked around for a while.

This room is for a membership who wants to have an education program.

Now, there is Eco_Museum camp for children.

I head for 2F café after look around museum.

It was too early to get into the café. So I had to ask the staff to take a picture.
Kindly, she said yes…. Here was blaring out “bella luna” by Jason Mraz.
The room was filled with the aroma of coffee. It was so good~

There is an outside patio for tea in fair weather.

It was lunch time but I did not hungry at all. So I decide to eat dumpling.

Look at this delicious-looking color~
The name of the dumpling is “Samsong Kkun mandu”.
There are noodle, tofu, and vegetable in the dumpling.

It was so delicious. The outside of dumpling was crispy and inside was so yummy!

I order too much so I could not eat all.
I got a doggy bag and brought it.
Then I head for Unjusan horse-riding Park.

Unjusan forest is the first place where to enjoy rest in the woods and horse riding at the same time.

The forest lodge is in the pine tree and there are many different kinds of facilities such as Unjusanjang, pool and camping spot and horse riding track too.

Here is an outdoor horse riding. It was a very quiet and nice to work on weekdays.

Pay 20,000 won can ride a horse 20 minutes!

Another people were getting ready to ride.

20 minutes ticket can only ride limited course. But if you are member of riding club, you can go wherever you want to go including outdoor.

I got on a horse!

At first I was very nervous but as time goes by I felt pretty comfortable.
I thought 20 minutes is too short, but once I get on a horse ….
20 minutes is enough to enjoy ~

After horse riding I started to get hungry.
I may use too much energy~
So I went to restaurant for Korean-style raw beef.

 Here is Youngcheon’s most famous restaurant for Korean style raw beef (Yukhoe)

 Lots of yummy foods~~
Yukhoe refers to a variety of hoe (raw dishes in Korean cuisine), which are usually made from raw ground beef seasoned with various spices or sauces. It is basically a Korean steak tartare. Usually the tenderest part of beef will be used. The beef is thinly julienned with the fat removed and then mixed with seasoning.

Yukhoe bibimbap’s vegetables commonly used in bibimbap include julienned cucumber, zucchini, mu (daikon), mushrooms, doraji (bellflower root), and gim, as well as spinach, soybean sprouts, and gosari (bracken fern stems). Dubu (tofu), either plain or sautéed, or a leaf of lettuce may be added, or chicken or seafood may be substituted for beef.

This bean paste stew is side dish of Yukhoe.

Youngcheon is great place to look around for a half day.

Especially each facility is located 20 minutes distance so it was very convenience.
When you have just short time off day, Youngcheon is perfect place to pleasure yourself~~
