[Gyeongbuk Andong] Wolyoung Bridge, Andong Galbi, ontrepieum, Experiences of Museum…

Last weekend, I went to Andong city where Confucianism culture in perfection remains.
This city has many exciting things relatively to other city. -à This ~ one of my friend told me!!

Through the Naman-dong IC, I head for Wolyoung bridge.
A new building was outstanding and grand.

It looks beautiful with near river and mountain.

Even though the weather was little cloudy but it was still nice.

Wolyoung gyo is a sculpture that shows nature.

Moreover this sculpture commemorates the beautiful love of Lee ung tae’s couple for a long time.
Some explanation says that a husband dead and the wife were very sad.
So she made hemp shoes by her hair.
Well.. I did not understand why she made by her hair.

This Bridge was for the husband and wife~.
They probably have done something great I thought. : )

A typical walk through a road, you will see a trail. You can walk like 5 minutes.

AS you walking to the end of the street, there is Jjokbit international exhibition.

 As soon as I get to the entrance, I saw the fabric drying in the air.  

 I went to the inside of the exhibition.

Wow, there were so many dyed fabrics which have very beautiful vivid color

 They say this kind of dyed fabric has many benefit as following.

1. This fabric is completely harmless to the human body.

2. It is protective in illness. Also could treat.

3. It has beautiful color and mix very well.

4. It is eco- friendly product.

5. It can protect from harmful insect and animal.

6. You will enjoy of creativeness.

 This is Korea traditional pattern. It looks like a hive I thought.

 There is some dying material that people can see the process.

 It was shampoo and soap.

 This is a coloring process.
They called Jjok coloring.

This is a JJok coloring water for ferment in the jar.

 You will see turtle when you look at very carefully.

 After the Jjokbit exhibition and end of the wolyoung Bridge,
I went to drama shooting outside studio and museum of Korean style house.

 At first, I saw Lee won mo Wa-house.

Lee won mo family used to live in the late 19 century.

 It says something on the fan.
It might be welcome message?

 Weather was very hot.
But this wood floor was very cool.

The place was very clean and it was good to rest for the visitor.

 Here is message.

Chrysanthemum tea is free!

 There is Chrysanthemum tea experience event.

 After Lee won mo Wa-house, I saw very unique old house.

There was big hole on the roof.

They say this hole is for let bad smell and smoke out.

This kind of house which has very closed house style is normal in Gangwon-do and gyeongbuk north.

It was for prevent dangerous animal they said.
It called “ Bakbunsup Kachi-jip”

 I saw the hole inside of house.

This room was so cool as working air-conditioner.
