Yecheon

  Today, I would like to introduce in Yecheon.

I visited Yecheon insect museum.

Yecheon is widely known as the city of four season festivals and sightseeing & events;
in the spring, Yecheon holds ‘Harvesting Wild Edible Greens’ Festival.

In the summer, there are Yecheon Insects Bio Expo,
Tongmyeong Farmers’ folk song festival, and Yecheon Arirang Festival.

And I am going to show insect ecological park.

The whole building is 3rd floor and 1st floor have 3D movie theater.

They also sell insect souvenir and well-known local products at fist floor.

There are lots of stuffed insects at second floor and I can see history of it

It was very amazing to see these kinds of unusual bugs.

I can know how to grow up, how to move.

Even for me I am all grown up man, everything is very excited to me.

This picture is about harmful insect such as cockroach.

Cockroach like warm and wet place I’ve heard.

Uh,,, so disgusting.

To avoid these insect, we always clean up all round us.

 

Here is more like fun fun place and more information.

They show how to live an ant. It was very interesting and more like study.

Many kids were just look and say “Wow ~~ Wow~~”

This child looks very interesting.
   

They were making some insect with sorghum straw.

Everything was free and it could bring their home.

This place is for water drop play.

One child was playing with it.

I wanted to play it myself but I couldn’t…

I was too big to play with it.:)

There was a street about live insect.

There were a lot to see such as climbing plant and viaduct for insect ecology.

It was great place to take a picture.

I moved to Hoeryongpo.

Hoeryongpo is surrounded by the winding Naeseongcheon River,
a tributary of the Nakdonggang River.

The village offers views of a beautiful landscape created
by the twists and curves of the river,
while the best views of the scenic nature are
at Jangansa Temple or Hoeryongdae Hill on Mt. Biryongsan.

Here is Choganjung house.

The view of this was so peaceful and beautiful.

I wanted to go inside but it was not allowed.

What a beautiful tiled roof!

There was very pretty pond in front of the house.


It called Byungjungam house.

Quite and peaceful place.

 

I had typical Korean meal.


The name of this food is Soondae-guk.

I normally like soondae very much.
So it was very familiar taste to me.

 

After eating I went to Samgang pub(Korean old style pub) in kumsildang village.

And there will be insect bio expo 28th July~19th Aug.

Various international symposiums will be held to present
the envisioned future of the insect industry,
provide an insight into the current and future
relationship between environment-friendly agriculture and insects,
and to provide an opportunity to explore the world of insects,
ultimately promoting the future of industrial development using insects.

I would like to go there with my co-worker and will enjoy!!
