Go to Yeong- Deok Snow Crab Festival.

I‘ve heard the Yeong-Deok Snow Crab Festival from today~It is 14th festival and 11th~ 13rd on March.
If you’ve never been there before it is worth to go and eat delicious Korea snow crab!
This is not a crab. ^^
There is also going to hold some kind of singing contest tonight.
Since I didn’t have enough time I couldn’t see it. Too bad..

Here is Yeong-Dok Snow Crab City.

Wow!!!! There are lots of people and carb too!!I found one big stone which we can know we are in Yeong-Deok City.

We arrived 2 hours before starting festival…
So we just looked around all over the festival places.
It was very interesting ~

Most of design is crab. Haha...... that’s really cute. Isn’t it?

The festival started with Korean traditional play.

It was my first time to see actual Korean instrument.
The sound was very cheerful. I almost danced.
I saw some grandma and grandpa dancing together.

There are also lots of famous local products.

Here is a place you can know about multi-cultural family.

This is a Kimchi with crab. I’ve never heard this kind of Kimchi before.

It smell was very good and I would like to try it.
This kimchi was very very popular in this festival.

I couldn’t even eat a bite. Causes there are so many people.
Errrr I really would like to have a bite~~

And this is Crab Bibimbob. Ajumma(Mrs.) is maxing Bibimbob!

People who ate this one they were surprised!! It looks very yum!

This is BBQ. It’s whole pig. Wow!

I can’t miss to see lots of snow crab. Look at the color.
So beautiful~

It was very hart to just see. Not eat at that moment.

I think I see very enough big crab for all of my life.

There are many kinds of food as well not just snow crab.
For me just look at was very interesting!

Everywhere was jam-packed with tourist.

This is An-Dong international mask dance festival.
I wanted to dance with mask.

This building was beautiful and special.

Isn’t it looks like flower? But it’s not, It’s light bulb.
I bet it’s going be pretty in the night,

If you want to try fishing snow crab you can try it.
This place gets people together for snow crab fishing.

There was Korean main broadcast company which is MBC, KBS, SBS.

Main cameraman was recording me… I might be on new tv tonight! Yahoo!!

Wow ~ He is going to let snow crab go~~gogogo~~

After fishing there was Snow Crab action too.
They are trying to catch snow crab~. Some guys are pretty good~

Fishing game was fun. Just watching make people excited.

I might try it next time~ I can bring Snow Crab my home.

Come and eat Snow Crab.
Even if you don’t like eating Snow Crab, there are many things to see and enjoy here.


And look at this beautiful sea… Just look at this sea. Makes me peaceful...

This Snow Crab Festival held 11th~ 13rd on March.
You can enjoy your mouth and eyes. Also you can bring Snow Crab with cheap price.
Also there are lots of free sample food stand such as Snow Crab Ramen, Snow Crab Kimbob etc..
Well this period is the only the time that I don’t care cost of Snow Crab and eat as much as I want!
Normally Snow Crab is pricy food. But not this time!!
The location is Samsa Heasang Park Ganggu-myeon Yeungdeok-gun.

Goryeong

I am going to visit Goryeong where is very famous for beautiful nature and embodies the spirit of old people.

Goryeong has is a historical place where rock art is still clearly remained from the old age and was Daegaya nation for 520 years and is a birthplace of master Uruk, who create Gayageum.Also here is the beautiful town of Gaya’s culture, history of Goryeong.

The weather was great when I leave.

A warm sunshine and breezy air makes me very exciting even now is autumn.

I headed for Daegaya museum as soon as get to Goryeong.

First, I went to history pavilion.

Inside the museum was very huge.

The crown and accessory caught my eye among many stuff.

These gold accessories were very dazzling even though I can see more beautiful accessories now.

Korean old people‘s the sense of beauty was very great I thought.

I also saw various life stuff and something to use at war period.

I saw many foreigners so there are 3 different languages to explain about relic.

At 2 FL exhibitions have relic from Old Stone Age to present. I could understand Daegaya , Goryeong-gun ‘s history well.

There are so many representative Korea’s treasures.

As you can this photo, this treasure was in a good state of presentation.

The treasure was well preserved and explanation was excellent. So it was very easy to understand.

This mural was re-painted. And this paint was Daegaya age.

It looks like a real! I could know about Daegaya people’s thinking and life.

This is the Daegaya royal tomb exhibition.

Here is also 100% re-make as like inside of royal tomb.

I could see tomb’s structure, how to build and the way of dead body’s buried. Also I could see grave goods.

I felt al little weird and scared because it was inside of tomb. But I was impressed.

Here is Daegaya history theme park.

I felt ancient Daegaya’s culture with historical animations in the “Ancient House” and experience Daegaya people’s life style in 4D Video room.

I can directly experience Daegaya culture from “Dargaya international Affair Experiencing room” and ‘Steel Empire Daegaya Museum’.

I headed up the top of the viewing platform.

A viewing platform gave stunning views over the natural.

I went down from the platform, found out pretty log pension.

Isn’t that lovely pension which you can see in the fairy tale?

Because of the fresh air, beautiful nature and many things to do, the weekend is always full-booked. People said like that.

Next is Ureuk museum.

It just took 5 min from Daegaya museum by car.

It was a theme museum of Ureuk and Gayageum that excavates, collects, preserves and displays data related to Ureuk who invented Gayageum.

I saw Ureuk’s statue as soon as get the entrance of museum.

Here was the place where people are introduced to our musical instrument Gayaguem and can experience Gayageum both directly and indirectly.

And I stop by the place where making gayageum, geomungo and study and sales.

They were producing gayageum by theirs hand. The sight of a making instrument was very special.

I took a picture that a master craftsman was making a gayageum.

To watch this sight is really fun and you can feel real Korea.

I also looked around other gayageum.

The many kinds of gayageum were so beautiful.

I feel the beauty of tradition Korea during visit Goryeong today.

Korea’s beauty of tradition and beautiful gayageum will remain in my heart for long time.
