These days, weather is so great.
I went to Gyeongju cherry blossoms festival.
I went to Gyeongju cherry blossoms festival.
First, we head for the Gyeongju Bomun complex.
The whole street was covered with cherry blossoms..
The Bomun Tourism Complex was built in 1971 as part of the central government’s Comprehensive Development Project for Gyeongju aimed to mix the city’s characteristics
as the capital of an ancient kingdom with modern features.
as the capital of an ancient kingdom with modern features.
The whole hill is also covered with cherry blossoms.
This is duck boat. I saw many couples and family to take this boat together.
The view flower here is wonderful.
I brought this strawberry.
Look yum!
Look yum!
Isn’t it?
I really enjoyed this flower and view this time.
This is my first time to enjoy Korean cherry blossom festival.
I took lots of picture and send it to my family.
There is more family than couple.
These kids were also liked here.
They were so cute. So I took a picture.
Next, We visited to “ shilla Millenium Park.
The trip to Gyeongju was better than ever.
A dynamic performance on horseback is available at the Gongbang Village,
along with the Millennium Palace Resort &
Spa, a resort that looks like a traditional Korean-style house from the Silla period.
That big sign is main sign.
It takes about 2 hours to make your way around the whole theme park,
but make sure to leave some extra time to watch performances,
and participate in the workshops.

The best way to enjoy the Silla period is to experience the traditional culture first-hand.
The hands-on experience area at Silla Millennium Park is designed like a small village .

This was also the time for Silla’s cultural restoration.
UNESCO’s acknowledgement of Seokguram Cave and Bulguksa Temple
as a World Cultural Heritage was around this time as well.
Gyeongju, being known as ‘an open-air museum’ is due to the fact that the cultural heritage,
which was created during the Silla period was abundantly rich.
The first building that comes into sight is the ‘Emile Tower Bell (Seongdeok Daewang Sinjong)’.
Standing at an approximate 17 meters (4 times larger than the original building),
the tower plays the role of Shilla Millennium Park’s landmar.
We decide to watch performance.
This scene is the one of the act from performance.
After watching the performance we walked in the wood.
A fresh wood scene makes me feel great.

There is an artificial waterfall.
This village was build as aristocrat village of Shilla Dynasty period.
There are various class society houses.
The class society called Sung-gol, Gin-gol, and 6th-doopoom.
The class society called Sung-gol, Gin-gol, and 6th-doopoom.
There is a big pond.
This village is quiet and peaceful .
I looked at 6th-doopoom’s house.
This is a Jin-gol’s house and could find the Chronicles of the Three States.
(It is a history book)When it was build by architect,
they refer to the Oksajoe house which in the chronicles of the three status book.

Gin-gol class consists of royal family. But only one side of family.
I can see how they were rich at that time.
This is placing the one where shoot a TV drama.
I saw some of pictures from TV shot.
I saw some of pictures from TV shot.
This house is Sung-gol’s house.
The house was grand and impressive like be high-class Sung-gol.
In Sung-gol house,
I could see very different rich style of construction which I could not find other class’s house.
Every house have different big and splendor.
It says their class society.
Next, I moved to performance stage.
Hwarang, of the Silla period, represents the whole moral cultivation of young teenagers.
Only children with a family lineage, a good education,
and proper posture were asked to join this group.
The dynamic stage
that tells of a story of the children’s spiritual disaster takes place at ‘Hwarang Sprit’
The performance ‘Hwaranguido (Hwarang’s way)’ takes place on this stage daily,
along with a cast of horseback military stuntmen.

As soon as the performance begins,
an exhibition of the Hwarang’s military martial arts skills is featured.

The military art performance on horseback is a show that is representative of Shilla Millennium Park, and is a 30-minute performance that should not be missed.
Our last place was “ Beemalji” It means ecological pond &cave.
Shilla Millennium Park was very exciting place.
There were so many things to see and do.
I am sure I will come next time too when my family come to Korea.
Here is Gilimsa temple.
Gyeong-ju is one of those areas with a huge amount of ancient historical sites
and landmarks within a short distance.
and landmarks within a short distance.
Girimsa is temple with a lot of buildings and land.
If it's not a regular set for some of the historical dramas they make here, then I would be surprised.
They hold a lighting ceremony to celebrate Buddha's birthday on May.
Light.
Legend has it that the temple was originally built by the Venerable Gwang-yu, a sage from India,
in the early part of the Silla Dynasty.

The temple was reportedly called ‘Imjeongsa’ at first, but was later changed to ‘Girimsa’
after undergoing expansive renovations by Monk Wonhyo.

Here are also cherry blossoms.
In Seoul, most people have replaced the Kimchi pot with Kinchi refridgerators,
but I saw a lot more kimchi pots in Gyeoung-ju.
The temple consists of 16 buildings, and its scale is second only to Bulguksa in the Gyeongju area.
Its features include the antique Hall of Great Stillness and Light.
Until the time of the liberation of Korea from Japan in 1945,
this temple from Silla was the largest in the Gyeongju area, located in Yangbuk-myeon, Gyeongju.
Even Bulguksa (Buddha’s Land Temple),
now one of the most famous temples in Korea, was once a branch temple of Girimsa.
Girimsa is also famous for its water that has five different tastes.
It is called Ojongsu (Five Kinds of Water); Gamrosu (Amrita Water) is the best for making tea, Hwajeongsu (Harmony and Purity Water) makes one feel comfortable just by drinking it,
Janggunsu (General’s Water) makes the flesh and bones big and strong,
Myong-ansu (Clear Vision Water) makes the eyes clear,
and Otaksu (Pecking Crow’s Water) has such fine color that even a crow pecked at it.
It was just one day trip today.
However I enjoy my day today.
And lots of thing to see and enjoy in Gyeongju.
Enjoy my picture and visit Gyeongju sometime.
You will have great time!
